CNN Philippine's New Day segment 'Make a List, Check it Twice' featured my hand-sewn dolls.
Oliver Makes Dolls is a creative venture of Manila-based graphic designer Oliver Ocampo. His first plushie, Emo doll, was born in 2009 and has since then expanded to various plush designs and products. His creations are not the usual toys you'll find in shops. They are uniquely designed and hand-sewn using a variety of fabric and materials. Most of them are custom-made specifically by commission and are thus not available to everyone. The others, which are part of a series, are made on a limited number only.
Oliver is a self taught illustrator, designer, and plush maker. He illustrates, designs and makes all the dolls by hand. For over a decade now, he continues to create friendly felt monsters, voodoo dolls, ninja dolls, and other lovable pop culture felties aside from the custom-made ones.
Oliver Makes Dolls creations are currently available online and exported outside the Philippines and has been featured in ABS-CBN, GMA 7, CNN Philippines, Candy Magazine, Outrage Magazine, and The Baguio Chronicle.
